You may well have read these headlines, even seen my morning TV appearance after I hit the jackpot at Cheltenham in May 2018.
Well the truth of it all is I didn’t believe any of it would actually happen.
I even joked about taking all my mates to Vegas if I pulled it off and here I am booking the flights after wiping the floor by winning £168,751 at Betfred.
It was a bit of banter, but I’m a man of my word, so the Magnificent Seven are off to the Strip.

I put my bet on at Betfred and then went off to the Conservative Club fifty yards away.
After the first four won, I came back to the bookies for the buzz.
The manager Darren was outside because he knew what was on if I won the 5.30.
There was a great atmosphere in the shop as my choice Missed Approach led from virtually start to finish.
I’m normally quite tanned, but everyone says I went white as a sheet.
Before the last race I said half-jokingly if I win I’m taking all of us, all seven to Las Vegas for four days which of course I have honoured and in fact thanks to even more success we’re turning it into a week!
Although there is just the question of permission from the wives but can’t see any problem on that front!!
Since Cheltenham, I’ve been trying the method out at other courses and it’s working extremely well.
